Nawaj Sharif to Resign in Seven Days?

In Pakistan, Supreme Court Bar Association and the Lahore High Court Bar Association warned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that if he does not leave the power in seven days, they would start a movement across the country against them.

Both have been told in a joint statement issued by the association, "Both the associations believe that in view of the Supreme Court's order in the Panama Papers case, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should not remain in power and  should resign.

Both of these associations said that Panama Gate has clearly indicated that Sharif and his children have made financial irregularities and corruption and this is why the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed to investigate.

This warning of the Bar Association on 19th May, a meeting of the lawyers came in right after the clash between members of Pakistan's ruling Nawaz Sharif, supporters of PML-N and members of both the associations. PML-N supporting lawyers have detained the Supreme Court Bar Association's president Rashid Rijvi in the Lahore High Court's library. During this disaster, Rizvi had to be pulled out by breaking the lock.

The PML-N supporting lawyers had to say here that the Panama Papers case is still under consideration in the court and in such a situation, the demand for Sharif's resignation is not appropriate.

Let's say that the Pakistani PM and his family are accused of corruption in the Panama Papers case. The Supreme Court has constituted a Joint Investigation Team to investigate the matter and has instructed Nawaz Sharif and his two sons to appear before the team for investigation.
