Advani had Declined to be the Presidential Candidate: Chinnamayanand

Former Union Home Minister Swami Chinnamyanand on Saturday claimed that LK Advani himself had refused to contest the candidature of the President because he was made an accused in the Ayodhya case by the CBI.

Chinmayanand said, "It would be completely wrong to say that Advani has been neglected for the Presidential candidate. In the Ayodhya case, the CBI has made him an accused, so he himself declined the presidency.

On the question of Vice President, he said that the Vice Presidential election will be held after the President but who will be the candidate, it has not been decided yet.

Swamy Chinmayanand said, "Ram temple issue of Ayodhya is the most important issue for BJP. In such a case, the Supreme Court had said that the settlement was resolved with mutual consent, but the other party (Babri Masjid) was not prepared on which there was no solution.

He said that even when the Somnath temple was built, even when the Central Government passed the proposal and made the law and constructed the temple, in the same way, now there is a BJP government in the center and Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, the Central Government should make laws so that the temple can be built, this is also an option.
