Country Celebrates Eid

PM Narendra Modi tweeted on the occasion of Eid and congratulated people. He wrote that Eid, celebrated after holy month Ramadan, is a symbol of brotherhood and harmony in society.

New Delhi: The festival of Eid is being celebrated with joy and fervor in the whole country. PM Narendra Modi tweeted on the occasion of Eid and congratulated the people celebrating the auspicious festival. He wrote that Eid celebrated after holy month Ramadan is a symbol of brotherhood and harmony in society. President Pranab Mukherjee hoped at the auspicious occasion of Eid that this Eid will bring prosperity to everyone's life and will strengthen our faith in unity and brotherhood, which has been India's overall cultural heritage.

On the other hand, prayers were earmarked on Monday morning between the frequent violence and stress situation in Srinagar. Here, people greeted each other and congratulated Eid. Home Minister Rajnath Singh has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Eid and delivered a message of peace and prosperity to the people of Kashmir. Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that we wholeheartedly congratulate Eid to our sisters, elderly, youth and children of Kashmir. I am confident that this festival of goodness and humane will prove to be beneficial in enhancing the atmosphere of peace and harmony and prosperity in Kashmir and will illuminate the new day in the plaintiff.


Eid festival is being celebrated in Patna, Bihar's capital. The people of Muslim community paid tribute to different mosques here. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also congratulated the people and joined the prayer. CM Nitish said that Eid congratulations to people across the country. The festival of Eid shows love, union and unity.
