Tier-II (Descriptive Paper)
Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode. The duration of the paper would be of one hour. This paper has been introduced to assess the writing skill of the candidates which is necessary in Government jobs. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/ Application of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent.
 Tier-III Examination Tier-III of the Examination would be the Skill Test/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature. The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.
Important points:-

There will be 50% negative marks, so be very careful to attempt the examination paper.

There is no section cut off so you have to attempt maximum questions in that section which is your strong part.

For Descriptive paper just read editorial section of newspaper daily.

You also have to prepare some topics just like, pollution, merits and demerits of mobile phone, Global Warming, Terrorist Attack, Letter to your brother about preparation of examination, letter to your ward commissioner about bad condition of street lights, letter to your principal about college ragging system.

For General Awareness, you have to read daily newspaper or tune to news channels, read monthly magazine like Pratiyogita Darpan, etc.

You have to do daily one set practice and also analyze the paper and evaluate your marks day-to-day.
